Hue was the royal capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty. The city’s main attractions are the Citadel, the tombs of emperors, and pagodas. Hue’s imperial architecture was largely destroyed during the Vietnam War, and today its grand structures are crumbling and decaying. The weather was misty and drizzly, which is typical weather for Hue. While there’s plenty to see in Hue, it’s my least favorite city in Vietnam.
