Nepal - Kathmandu - Boudha

Boudha (or Boudhanath) is one of the world’s largest stupas and is considered the most important Tibetan Buddhist monument outside of Tibet. Boudha has been a sacred site for centuries, but with the influx of refugees from Tibet since 1959, it has become the center of the Tibetan Buddhist community. I arrived at dusk, when a mass of monks, pilgrims, and travelers were circling the stupa in a clockwise direction.
